MAXSTAR WEDGE V-belts have a narrower upper width than the conventional V-belt, which reduces the belt's own weight and equalizes the tension on the tensile cord, thereby increasing the wedge effect and enhancing grip. Due to the greater wedge effect, these belts have twice the transmission force of conventional V-belts. They feature high transmission speeds, energy savings and compact design.

The MAXSTAR WEDGE SUPREME has a cog shape and excellent flexibility. Therefore, compared to the standard V-belt, there is less power loss due to bending, and there is an energy saving effect.

Cover fabric:It is highly elastic, can easily bend and stretch during belt rotation, and has strong resistance to abrasion.

Tensile cord:It is the central part of belt strength and power transmission. In order to fully satisfy this role, the tensile cord with high tensile strength, low elongation, and high resistance to bending fatigue is used.

Compression rubber:It has excellent durability by using a compounded rubber that is less deformed under high load and has a high degree of flexibility.
